MISHALOG

Time has passed. Now I am back in Japan typing my last post for MISHALOG. After the 9 months-experience in the United States, what I know more than anything is that Life is fun, and I love my life. I do think that we make our own way in our life, however, I cannot help thinking I was meant to encounter all those people I met and go through all the hardships I have experienced. Even with only one missing, I wouldn't have been what I am now.

I kind of noticed that I have cried a lot as ever though I am almost turning 22 years old, but the reasons I have cried for have been not always concerned with sadness but rather appreciation for my friend and my life. The tears I had at the end of this experience also came from the same reason, I think. It is hard to explain, but one thing I know for sure is that it was not the tears of sadness.

I don't say that it is only overseas experience that tells us a lot. Even while living in Japan, I notice that everyday I am learning something new which I did not know yesterday and see myself growing day by day. Overseas experience is merely something which make us notice a little more clearly about many small but important things in life, and I was one of those lucky people who had chance to know those that are usually missed out in day-to-day life. I actually realized the true reason for my studying language: I love learning language because there will be many encounters with people that makes my life such a valuable one.

Sorry I do not mean to talk forever about my own philosophy. But, here, let me just show my huge appreciation for everyone and everything who supported me. THANK YOU ALL!!!!!!!!!!!

I love you;Jen, Jordyn, Barbara, Kayla, Ashley, my neighbors Brandon, Nick, Chop, Katie, Katrina, Colin, Kevin,Kyle,Amber, Chris, Drew, Kelly, Rechella, Alex, Angela, Faren, Carolyn, Mike, Shaun, Kathy, Tami, Stacy, Michael, Chelsey, Melissa, Matt, Scott, Jeffery, Dr. Reeves, Li tshai, Dave, Tyla, Kana, Yoko, Moe, Rika, Daisuke, Aki, Masa, Erika, Marina, all my friends in Japan, my Australian family, EWU, my school ,and my family!!!!!!

Thank you all for this great and too good experience.
Love! ! Misha

Good-Bye

It's already time to say good-bye. Many people are already done with their finals and they are goin home for summer. I have also been saying my good-bye to many of my favorite friends since yesterday. Yesterday, I had to say the word to one of my favorite friend, and today to my next door Brandon and Nick. I know it's not cool to cry, but I just couldn't hold my tears back because I might not see them for a long time, or for good. Am I really not going to see them call my name like " MISHA~~~!"? It feels so unreal to me since their exsitences have been something like a part of my everyday life. I hate this.

our dorm has been empty since pretty much people have left already. And my room looks so empty, too; no pictures on the wall, no decoration stuff aroud my desk.

Since I am cheking out Friday morning, tomorrow is the very last day in Cheney. Again, I have to say good-bye to my favorite friends tomorrow.

I wish the life here could last longer, but I want to believe that this is the beggining of something new. but still, it's so hard to say Good-bye.

For My Friends

It's already Friday, which means I have exactly 1 week left till the day I leave Cheney. I know, so I have been making lots of things for my friends to give them as my good-bye presents. Today, I spent all afternoon making this for Jordyn since she is one of my closest friends here. I think it turned out to be pretty good. Actually I have been making something for my room mate Jen, too( I hope she is not reading this, please not). And, I will be also making and drawing many good-bye cards for my other friends and teachers this weekend and next week..... I am busy even at the last moment, aren't I..?

Birthday Celebration in Woods

Amber, Jordyn, and me chilling

It is a little late post, but let me talk about last weekend real quick. Sunday was my friends Amber's birthday. Actually, her family, her friends(most of them are friends of mine, too), and she had been camping at a RV park since Friday to celebrate her birthday. I was also asked to stay with them all weekend but since I was gonna hang out with my other friend I joined them on Sunday afternoon. The day was HOT. I didnt even wanna wear jeans because of the heat. Anyways, we all celebrated her birthday with presents and huge chocolate cake^^ After a while we just sat back and relaxed under the sun. I think I got tanned even more. It was so nice and laid-back Sunday afternooon. By the way, I first called RV " caravan" as it is called so in Australia. But since my friends were like " what is that?", I learned they call it in different way, which is RV (Recreational Vehicle). Well, I knew that in the U.S., everything is BIG, but RV was way more HUGE in comparison with caravans I saw in Australia. Some of them were just like a bus.

Happy Days

↑Still this bright at 8pm.

I am so sorry for being away form this blog for a while. I have been extremely busy past few weeks since there are less than 2 weeks left before my school ends. I still have lots of school work, but at the same times I really have to hang out with my friends, and also have to do what I need to do before leaving.
Well, it has been just like summer here already. The temperature was 90 degrees (about 30 degrees in Celsius) today. And it does not get dark till late.
I have been really really enjoying the rest of days, actually. I have been hanging out with those I love and having great time. These too good days will definitely make things harder when I go back to Japan, but they will also stay as my treasures in my mind.
Tomorrow is supposed to be a boiling hot day, too. I am going to one of my friends' birthday party. You guys have a good weekend, too!
